General
For the Signature Series, Ortega called upon their ambassadors, who were invited to contribute to the design of the guitars, in terms of both aesthetics and sound. In the case of this Ortega TZSM-3, that ambassador was Thomas Zwijsen, the Belgian guitarist best known for his covers of metal classics on the classical guitar. His Signature model – shown here in a left-handed version – is therefore a classic 4/4 guitar with a solid spruce top. For the rest of the body, spalted maple was chosen; this features the whimsical patterns caused by natural organisms. The neck is made of mahogany and has a nut width of 48 mm – a slim neck, in other words, which guarantees a high level of playing comfort. The warm tone of this top-quality instrument can also be amplified; the built-in Fishman/Ortega Clasica Blend preamp features a tuner and both a jack and an XLR output. This guitar comes with an exclusive Deluxe Thomas Zwijsen gig bag, which is not available separately.

ik ben heel blij met het toestel, het verbetert mijn houding bij het spelen van de gitaar; bij BOl .com is het goedkoper dan elders
