General

The CGS103A is a 3/4 model classical guitar from Yamaha's School Guitars series. This nylon-string acoustic guitar is the perfect solution for the young beginner who is not yet big enough for a full-size instrument. Its slightly smaller shape and three-quarter scale string length make it ideally suited for children aged 8 and up. But also for adults with small stature who are looking for a more manageable guitar. Despite its size, the Yamaha CGS103A is an instrument to be taken seriously. After all, it shares the sound characteristics and build quality of its bigger brothers. And at a very attractive price!

Yamaha CGS103A: full-size sound

The School Guitars series consists of several sizes of affordable entry-level models based on Yamaha's popular CG line of classical guitars. They therefore use the same construction and woods, giving them that unmistakable Yamaha sound and feel. The neck uses nato, an oriental mahogany. This neck has a comfortable width of 48 millimetres and features a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. The sound box of the CGS103A consists of a real spruce top with a meranti side and back. With a depth of 84 to 88 millimetres, it is just a bit thinner than that of a 4/4 size classical guitar. However, the sound is just as full and warm.

Mijn postuur en houding zijn nu zó professioneel dat mensen meteen hoge verwachtingen hebben (en dat terwijl ik eigenlijk helemaal geen gitaar kan spelen)

Kortom: topbankje. Laat je eruitzien als een maestro, zelfs als je alleen maar drie akkoorden kent!
