General
Featuring a good 1,000W RMS power capacity, an integrated 12-inch sub and no less than twelve 3.5-inch full-range speakers, the LD Systems MAUI 28 G3 is a great pick for DJs and small bands that play at weddings and events. This portable PA system has an elegant design consisting of two aluminium speaker columns and a birch plywood base that houses the sub as well as the system's beating heart: the upgraded, second-gen Dynx DSP. Distortion-free sound guaranteed - even at maximum volume.
Cardioid Configuration for Enhanced Projection
Boasting a cardioid configuration, this smart column PA system offers enhanced low-and-mid-range projection from the front along with the option to 'dampen' the back and sides by up to 18dB. This way, it's easier to direct the sound as needed, resulting in increased sonic focus and clarity. Completely road-ready, the LD Systems MAUI 28 G3 comes with a hard-wearing polyurea finish.

Great customer service and the LD maui 28 G3 is an amazing piece of kit, in my opinion they undersell it's abilities. However, it was much too loud for a home studio and I had to return it, Bax totally helpful throughout. Thanks.

Not a review of the product, because I've still not received the speaker system 10 days later. Absolutely shocking customer service, and the guy hung up on me for no reason at all!!

Très bonne qualité de son, je ne suis pas déçu de LD System. Je possedais déjà le Maui 11G3, j'ai basculé sur le 28G3 on sent la différence sur les basses. La rondeur fait plaisir.

Een degelijk PA-systeem voor deze prijs. Mooier design dan de vorige generatie. Voordeel geen ventilator die staat te draaien als koeling dus je kan hem evengoed in je woonruimte plaatsen. Helder zuiver geluid, soms misschien iets te scherp. Nog een voordeel is Bluetooth, alleen jammer dat je beide niet kan koppelen zoals met de LD Maui 44.
2 x 28 G3 is max voor 100 personen naar mijn gevoel maar voor achtergrond of lounge kan hij wel meer aan.
Minpunt vind ik wel (en dat vind ik heel vreemd dat dit nooit eerder werd besproken in de reviews) dat de bass zowat volledig wegvalt als je niet voor de speaker staat. Heel jammer. Fout van mezelf dat ik deze niet heb voorbeluisterd. Hiervoor heb ik 2 jaar de LD Dave 15 (2.1) gehad en daar had ik hetzelfde probleem. Ik dacht, dit is de derde generatie, zal dus opgelost zijn maar neen. Daarvoor heb ik jaren feesten gegeven met HK Audio Elias Actieve PA top plus sub en daar was de bass en punch veel beter. Qua geluid ook voller maar o zo´n gedoe met sleuren, aansluiten, tussenpalen... maar deze PA staat letterlijk op in 5 sec.
En 3 jaar garantie! Top!
Al bij al toch tevreden met het product.
