The British brand Blackstar is proud of their heritage and are showing it with this special limited edition FLY 3 mini guitar amplifier combo with a cream-coloured cabinet and the familiar Union Jack printed on the grille. Besides just looking good, this compact amp has a lot more to offer. Its 3-inch speaker can deliver 3 watts of power and thanks to Blackstar's patented and praised ISF function, has a digital tape delay function and two channels as well.

Small but fierce

Let's have a closer look at the ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) which allows you access to virtually every imaginable kind of overdrive. Turn it all the way to the left, and you'll have a typical American sound with tight lows and lots of mid tones. When you turn it all the way to the right, you'll produce a rock sound that's as British as Led Zeppelin. To fine-tune your sound just the way you like it, use the gain knob, which works in the clean as well as the overdrive channel. To really compete with Blackstar's larger models, the FLY 3 has been given a great-sounding, fully-adjustable digital tape delay.

Practical Brit

This Limited Edition not only features a regular guitar input, but also a number of practical inputs and outputs. When you want to listen to music, you can connect your MP3 or other media player using the line-in. The same line-in works as an emulated output when hooked up to your computer or headphones. If 3 watts isn't enough, you can always hook up a Blackstar Extension Cabinet with an RJ45 cable to create a 6-watt mini stack. Incidentally, this amp is also battery-powered, which means no hassle with cables.
