Don't be fooled, the Blackstar FLY 3 offers similar high performance as any of the bigger models in the ID:Series. Packing 3 Watts of power and a 3-inch speaker, this mini combo is made for use home. In fact, it's even small enough to fit on your desk or in a backpack and, since it can be powered by batteries as well as the mains, you can take it with you to jam anywhere!

The Blackstar FLY 3: Tiny Yet Flexible Combo Amp

Equipped with just five controls, the Blackstar FLY 3 is incredibly easy to use. The Gain knob allows you to adjust the amount of overdrive for both channels (clean and overdrive), offering sounds that range from subtle edginess to full-on shred tone. The Tone control comes with Blackstar's patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) so you can change the timbre from American to British or use the built-in digital delay which can be adjusted in terms of both speed and level.

The Ins and Outs

To jam along with your favourite tunes or a backing track, the Blackstar FLY 3 features an MP3/line input, but there's also a headphone output with speaker emulation which doubles as a line output for recording. Round the back, you'll find a compartment for six AA batteries and an input for an optional 6.5V power supply. Last but not least, Blackstar have fitted an RJ45 port that allows you to build a versatile 6-Watt rig in combination with the optional Blackstar FLY 103 Extension Cab.
