The 1999 Bogner Metropolis 30-watt tube combo is a characterful guitar amplifier for guitarists who like to switch between sparkling clean tones and rich, vintage overdrive. This single-channel, all-tube design delivers up to 30 watts of Class-A power via four EL84 tubes, driven by a 5AR4 rectifier and three 12AX7s in the preamp circuit. Thanks to the unique Schizo switch, you can effortlessly fine-tune the amp’s character: from subtle British tones to a distinct Bogner punch. The two inputs on non-reverb models offer an extra range of voicings. This highly dynamic combo responds flawlessly to your playing style, making it ideal for both blues and classic rock.
