Boss unveils a fully redeveloped and sharpened MKII version of the 1x12 Katana 100. The beloved features of the original have been retained, but this updated edition now gives you even more playing pleasure and ease. In addition to the five MKI tube-amp emulations, the MKII has been gifted with a further five, giving you even more options when it comes to honing your sound. If you thought the MKI offered enough, this next-gen Katana also supplies a stack of sixty-five effects to help colour your sound, where the quality of every effect has even been improved and the range has been expanded to include octavers, pitch shifters and various extra delays. As well as the Katana 100 MKII amplifier, this bundle comes including a Roland EV-5 expression pedal for extra in-depth, hands-free control.

The Boss Katana 100 MKII: More Agility, Control and a Sharper Tone Editor

You now also have more control over this 100 Watt Boss guitar amplifier. Select your effects via the dual effect pots and swiftly toggle them on and off via the assignable switches. A new section for setting up an expression pedal (not included) has been included and loaded with pedal bends, volume and wah options. For those who are on a higher mission, chasing more elusive, never-heard-before-tones, the free Boss Tone Editor has been updated and fully adapted to meet the demands of the richer sound palette of the Katana MKII models. If you've honed any presets from the original series, these can also be loaded up with the new line and fine tuned even further.

Improved Stereo Imaging & Inspired Sound

Use the Stereo Expand option and link up two Katana amps to deepen, widen and clarify your stereo imaging, surround your adversaries and take them down with sound. The first amp acts as your master while the second amp serves as the slave. Both amps can be controlled at the same time using a GA-FC footswitch (not included) and, with a GA-FC foot controller (not included) you can also control various functions hands-free. Jack in your pedalboard or your multi-effect unit and use them as a preamp by connecting to the Power Amp Input instead of the return and get a direct path through the class A/B power amp section and the specially developed 12 inch speaker.
