This hyper-compact combo amplifier takes one step up from the ever-popular Boss Cube amp series, so just like its older siblings, it offers a mass of options alongside a portable design, and thanks to a broad array of connection options, this amp is easily integrated into any rig or home studio.

The Boss Dual Cube LX Guitar Amplifier

The Dual Cube LX delivers a home-rehearsal-friendly output of 10 Watts - that's 5 Watts per speaker to conjure wide stereo sound. The neat housing features eight newly-developed guitar amp emulations plus a microphone preamp, opening up a massive range of possible sounds: from an acoustic guitar simulation to brutal distortion. Pack your sound with extra depth using the three-band EQ controls and the stack of seven built-in effects and tweak the many parameters at will via the Dual Cube LX Editor app.

Settings & Connections

Focussed on smooth ease-of-use, once you've settled on your favourite amp and effect settings, they can be saved to one of the twenty-seven save slots provided (three for each amp type) to be called up later. The connection options are also expansive, including a USB port for direct recording and live-streaming; a stereo line-output complete with miked-up cabinet emulation; and an i-CUBE Link/Aux jack input for audio playback. A compatible port for a BT-Dual Bluetooth®Audio MIDI Dual Adapter (not included) has also been fitted, and for wireless control over the volume level and intensity of the on-board wah effect, this amp is also compatible with the EV-1-WL Wireless MIDI Expression Pedal (not included).
