The first to introduce the next step when it comes to expression pedals, Boss present the EV-1-WL: the first wireless MIDI expression pedal in the world. Compatible with all kinds of Boss and Roland-made gear, the EV-1-WL connects directly to the Eurus GS-1 electric synthesizer guitar as well as the Katana-Air and the Waza-Air. Keys players, meanwhile, are treated to Bluetooth compatibility in combination with the Jupiter-X and the Fantom 6, 7, and 8 models. Got one of Roland's WM wireless MIDI adapters? Awesome, that means you won't have to wrestle with any cables either.

The EV-1-WL: Cable-Free MIDI Management

If needed, you can always go old-school instead and plug your jack leads into the jack ports or use the USB ports. The mini-USB port can be connected to a laptop or computer for plug-and-play enjoyment of the options and user-friendliness that this Boss pedal offers. Assigning MIDI CC numbers to outputs can be done manually or using the iOS/Android companion app, while using cables provides a few extra perks in the form of a TRS MIDI jack port and a Boss FS pedal input. By the way, two AA batteries come included; an external power supply can be picked up separately.
