The BOSS Katana-Air is a totally wireless guitar amplifier! BOSS developed new wireless technology especially for this amp which means you can do away with cables giving you complete freedom. The amp itself can be powered via the included adapter or it can run on batteries meaning you can play literally anywhere. When it's plugged in, the Katana-Air gives you up an output of up to 30 watts and it's capable of producing up to 20 watts with batteries which is still enough for practice sessions and jamming.

Katana-Air: complete freedom

The Katana-Air makes use of a digital wireless transmitter which you plug into your guitar. It won't colour your tone and you won't experience any lag or signal dropouts either. The amp has a built-in docking station so that you can easily charge the transmitter which you won't have to do often as it lasts up to 12 hours when fully charged. You can even leave the transmitter in your guitar when you're not playing as it'll only turn on when movement is detected.

Fully-fledged sounds

The Katana-Air may be compact, but that doesn't stop it from having excellent sound quality. In fact, it offers the same sounds and effects as the larger models in the Katana series. That means you can choose between five different amplifier types and experience everything from a super clean tone to the iconic high gain 'Brown Sound'. You'll also have more than 50 effects at your disposal including delay and reverb. The on-board effects have been optimised to work in perfect harmony with the two built-in 3-inch stereo speakers. There are also 6 memory slots so that you can save your favourite sounds and recall them again easily later.
