With the Katana-Mini X amplifier, Boss presents a fully portable model that supports electric guitars, electro-acoustic guitars and even bass guitars. This flexible wee tank is the first ever Katana Series amp to feature a built-in tuner and rechargeable battery, so you can literally take it anywhere. When it comes to the sound of the Mini X, you're getting the full Boss treatment: three foundation sounds (Clean, Crunch and Brown) and a set of analogue tone controls alongside multi-stage gain circuitry supported by Tube Logic technology. Basically you're getting better sound than you'd ever expect from a little 10 Watt combo with a 5 inch speaker.

The effects bank is also on point, so you get a dedicated selection knob for the modulation effects and a second dedicated selection knob for your reverb and delay, making this amplifier super-easy to work with, even if you've just started playing. Via the selection knobs, you gain access to a chorus, phaser, tremolo, an octaver and plenty more, while the stereo headphone output backs up your more silent and private rehearsal sessions with speaker simulations and the same output can be used for direct recording. This model even features an integrated Bluetooth receiver so you can pair up your phone and play along to your favourite tracks. And, since this is the special edition, the Mini X features a wooden cabinet for extra-resonant sound.
