What's the only thing better than a speaker? That's right: two speakers! This Hiwatt T40 Combo houses two 12-inch Fane speakers that deliver this Hiwatt's 40 watts of pure tube power. You can also switch this output to 20 watts, allowing the tubes to smolder at a lower volume. In the preamp, you'll find two 12AX7 tubes and a 12UX7, and in the power amp, there are four EL84 tubes. This combination produces that one-of-a-kind British rock sound we know and love!
T40: simple yet comprehensive
Both channels on the T40 Combo have their own volume and gain controls, and a shared 3-band EQ. If you like reverb then you're in luck because this amp features a built-in spring reverb. Also, it offers connections for an emulated speaker out, an effects loop (send & return) and a foot switch for switching channels or turning the reverb on or off. Whether you're performing on stage or jamming at home, the Hiwatt T40 Combo 40W 2x12 tube guitar amp can handle just about anything!
