The AC4 is one of VOX's most popular tube amplifiers. The fact that it's simple to use is just one of the things that makes it so popular. With controls for gain, bass, treble and volume, two 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and one EL84 tube in the power amp, it produces the characteristic sound that VOX tube amps are renowned for. This version, the VOX AC4C1-12, has a 12-inch speaker for a more powerful sound. Not only that, this limited edition model comes in British Racing Green!

With the AC4C1-12, you can count on the famous Top Boost tone that VOX has been using for decades for a distinctive crunch and crystal-clear cleans. The AC4C1-12 is a versatile compact tube amp that's perfect for use at home or in the studio. If you want to use it on stage, you can connect a separate cabinet using the external speaker output. Carrying this 4-watt tube amp is a snap using the beautiful Bakelite handle, which complements its retro style perfectly.
