The VOX Hand Wired AC30 Alnico Blue is a 30W 2x12 tube combo that captures the classic AC30 sound of the 1960s in its purest form. This AC Hand-Wired approach is based on detailed research and analysis of old AC15 and AC30 models, aiming to capture that recognisable VOX sound - clear, open and rich in overtones - as faithfully as possible. Thanks to its hand-wired construction, it's all about immediacy, dynamics and feel.

A key part of that vintage feel is in the power supply: a reinterpretation of the power supply circuit gives you the characteristic "sag" and compression that responds so pleasantly to your touch and volume knob. Add to that the custom-designed output transformer, which makes the harmonic components stand out extra well, and you get an amp that not only sounds good, but plays inspiring. The cabinet construction is also designed for a full midrange, contributing to that familiar AC30 presence.

At the same time, this combo is made for the modern guitarist. You have a high-quality spring reverb for extra depth and ambience, plus an effects loop for neatly integrating your effects. The speaker cables are easy to disconnect, so you can connect an attenuator without fuss. With 2x12-inch Celestion Alnico Blue speakers, this delivers a wide, responsive sound that retains its character both on stage and in the studio.
