If you've always dreamed of backing up your bass with that Ampeg sound but would rather lug around something more compact? Then the Ampeg Micro Stack VR rig provides the ultimate solution. This lightweight stack combines the power of a Micro-VR amp head with an SVT210AV cabinet loaded with two 10 inch Eminence speakers, giving you Ampeg-grade sound quality that can be taken on stage, into the rehearsal room and into the studio with ease. Quickly set up, plug in and, via the basic yet satisfying layout, dial in the gain, the bass, the mids and the trebles to shape your sound to taste. Active basses are accommodated by the -15dB setting of the pad switch while the limiter switch can be engaged to support a more balanced bass sound. For home rehearsals, the amp head even features an output for a set of headphones and a 3.5mm mini-jack input so you can plug in external audio gear and play along to backing tracks. To complete the setup, an XLR line output and a mono effects loop have also been supplied.
