The formidable Warwick BC 150 combo delivers 150 Watts of uncompromising bass sound courtesy of the gigantic low-end shaped by a 15 inch Warwick Custom speaker and stunning high-end of a 4 inch tweeter, all packed away inside a solid cabinet with an efficient bass reflex design. This German-made hulk of a transistor amp more than brings the goods.

The Warwick BC 150: Pure Bass

Thanks to the internal Dynamic Distortion Limiter (DDL) any of the noise and unwanted distortion that comes with higher volume levels is effectively removed, leaving the pure sound of your bass fully intact. In terms of tone-shaping tools, you're set up with a detailed four-band EQ section and when it comes to setting up, you're kitted out with an active and passive bass input, an on-board effects loop, and a line output complete with a ground-lift switch.

Wrote the following about Warwick BC 150 Combo Bass Amplifier

Dit is werkelijk een van de beste combo basversterkers. De aansluitmogelijkheden zijn met de mini-jacks aan de voorzijde wat anders dan ik gewend ben (XLR aan de achterzijde), de potmeters reageren nogal sterk, maar de mogelijkheid om 2 bassen tegelijk aan te sluiten en ook nog eens een MP3-speler of telefoon te laten versterken is erg goed bedacht, en maakt deze versterker ook bijzonder geschikt voor het geven van muziekles. Voor mij is deze basversterker het bewijs dat er ook goede producten uit China kunnen komen. En dat verbaast mij niets, want de opdrachtgever is nog altijd Warwick, en ook de in hun opdracht en naar hun specificaties geproduceerde basgitaren zijn van een uitstekende kwaliteit!

De prijs is een lokkertje, en dat voor Duitse degelijkheid dacht ik. Het elektronische gedeelte is helemaal oké dus ik heb er twee gekocht. MAAR op stevig volume gaat de grill rammelen,wat blijkt nu : De kastwanden zijn voor een 15 Inch te dun, is slecht gelijmt of helemaal niet op meerdere plaatsen ,maarja hij is in China gemaakt. Ik er een kast omheen gelijmd van dik multiplex en NU klinken ze als een bas, ÉN mooi wit gemaakt. Kleurt beter bij mijn relax stoel . Maar totaal €400 duurder uit, maar dan heb je ook 300 watt bas combo......
