General

The Celestion CDX1-1425 is a high-quality 1-inch neodymium compression driver with a load capacity of 25 watts RMS and a sensitivity of 108 dB. This tweeter also has a 1.4-inch voice coil, a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a frequency range running from 2000 to 20,000 Hz. The necessary crossover is best set at 2,500 Hz. The cone suspension is made of elastomer, which together with the aluminium diaphragm ensures low distortion. The CDX1-1425 driver is usable for two- and three-way systems and line arrays. It delivers best performance from 2500 Hz onwards, with the woofer handling the frequencies below that, possibly together with a midrange driver.
