Thanks to their signature warm guitar tone, the original Greenback guitar speakers have been considered the gold standard since the sixties. The smaller sister of the legend that is the G12M Greenback, the 30 Watt Celestion G10 Greenback is built to deliver the same loud and organic yet growling and warm sound, but does it all with the directness of a 10 inch speaker. The History of the G10 Greenback

Way back when, Celestion introduced one of the very first real guitar speaker cabinets: the Celestion Blue. The lush, sparkling sound of this Alnico-based speaker is as popular today as it was back then, and would mark the beginning of the Celestion legend which would grow to include the Greenback: the first Celestion-designed speaker to feature a ceramic magnet. This model still had that organic Alnico sound, but was more compact, boasted a higher power output and bore its own uniquely characteristic tonal warmth.
