General
The Celestion CDX1-1745 is a powerful, high-quality 1-inch ferrite compression driver. It can load up to 75 watts RMS, has a sensitivity of 110 dB and an 8 ohm nominal impedance. Furthermore, this ceramic driver possesses a 1.75-inch voice coil and the cone suspension and diaphragm consist of a single piece of PETP film. Its frequency range goes from 1200 Hz to 20 kHz and performs best when used from 2200 Hz onwards. A separate woofer reproduces the underlying frequencies, possibly combined with a midrange driver.
