The CDX14-3030 is a powerful compression driver from Celestion, bringing together the best features of the CDX series. This results in excellent performance, especially considering its relatively compact size. The driver is equipped with a ferrite magnet, a 3-inch voice coil and a 1.4-inch exit. The load capacity is 75 watts RMS at 8 ohms. Over the entire frequency range, which extends from 500 to 18,000 Hertz, sensitivity is 106.5 dB. Heat distribution is excellent.

CDX14-3030: FTA and Sound Castle suspension

Thanks to Finite Element Analysis (FEA), the magnetic and acoustic design was optimised, so Sabian -especially given the competitive pricing- comes up with a high-performance high driver. This model is further equipped with the Sound Castle suspension, which exerts very even pressure on the edges of the diaphragm. This ensures minimal distortion in sound, while the rear of the driver-cover can act as a loading chamber, which in turn leads to excellent mid-band response. This Celestion CDX driver is an excellent choice for larger PA systems.
