The Shure PGA 98H TQG is a condenser microphone specifically designed for amplifying wood and brass instruments on stage or in the studio. This particular model comes with a TA4F mini connector so you can connect it to a wireless bodypack. It's also suitable for percussion instruments due to its flexible gooseneck, which is easy to manoeuvre into any position.

Shure PGA 98H: extremely versatile

Thanks to its wide frequency range of 60 Hz to 20 kHz, the Shure PGA 98H can be used to record or amplify many different sources, brass instruments in particular. Using the integrated mic clip, it can simply be clamped onto the bell of any instrument, including the saxophone. You can also use the PGA 98H for close-miking percussion, toms and strings thanks to the flexible gooseneck, with which allows for optimal positioning. Finally, its cardioid pickup pattern effectively counters ambient noise so the pure sound of the instrument comes through loud and clear.

Wrote the following about Shure PGA 98H TQG instrument condenser microphone with TA4F

Dit is de goedkopere Wireless clip on van Shure. Verschil met het model erboven dat 2x zo duur is: 20 Hz aan de onderkant en mechanisch wellicht minder gevoelig voor ongewenste trillingen. Ik heb er geen last van en die 20 Hz heb je niet nodig. Absoluut value for money dus. Voor dit bedrag kon er bij Shure helaas geen hard plastic case af dus levering in een etui. Standaard connector voor Wireless systemen.
