The double bass is already a mighty instrument and demands a mighty on-stage and studio sound to match. Developed in collaboration with renowned sound engineer Ludovic Lanen, the clip-on Prodipe BL21 Lanen microphone maintains a consistent distance from the strings to ensure consistent volume and tone, while giving the bassist maximum freedom to move. The cardioid polar pattern of the microphone itself registers the full tonal depth of the strings and body resonance while maintaining low handling noise and boasts a high SPL level of 140dBs to support distortion free fortissimo. Fitted with a mini-XLR plug, the Prodipe BL21 comes complete with a mini-XLR to XLR adapter.

Très bon micro en complément d'une cellule David Gage. Peut être utilisé seul pour l'enregistrement, reproduit fidèlement le son de l'instrument. Tout ça à un prix très bas.

Handig om te plaatsen op contrabas. je kan er alle richtingen mee uit.
Om te versterken sta je best weg van de boxen anders gaat ie grommen. Ik gebruik m eigenlijk voor opname en dit lukt prima met hoofdtelefoon verbonden aan de opnameset. De ware warmte van de klankkast wordt mooi doorgegeven. De clip is handig om de connector vast de schuiven over een snaar waardoor deze goed blijft zitten en probleemloos een microkabel kan aangesloten worden en het instrument verplaatsen is zodoende ook geen probleem.
Ben zeer tevreden over dit kleinood.

Ik wilde het echte geluid van mijn contrabas versterken, inclusief kast, en daarom wilde ik een microfoon en geen element(en). Dit is een superhandig klein en licht microfoontje. De ophanging zorgt dat de trillingen van de kast niet worden doorgegeven. Het zit met een houdertje en een hengeltje ongeveer 10 cm boven de kam.

Het geluid is uitstekend. Hij lijkt alleen wat kwetsbaar, maar je kunt het hengeltje met de microfoon er gemakkelijk afnemen, zodat je eerst de bas kunt wegzetten en dan de installatie afbreken. Alternatief is een extra XLR-kabeltje ertussen, en dat loskoppelen, maar daar moet ik nog even over nadenken. Het is voor mij niet echt nodig, het snoertje van de Prodipe is 130 cm lang.

Verder heb je natuurlijk het risico van rondzingen. Het microfoontje lijkt goed te richten, dat hebben we even getest, maar ik denk dat ik voor de zekerheid de speakerkast naast of voor me zet.
Tot nu toe erg tevreden.
