The ATM450 is one of Audio Technica's Artist series top models. This pencil-type condenser microphone is designed for high-quality audio registration. From overhead to acoustic guitar and from strings to piano, the possibilities are endless! Thanks to the used components and construction, you can use the ATM450 to achieve professional recordings, and all of this at an attractive price.

ATM450: cardioid

The cardioid pickup pattern of the ATM450 ensures care-free use, with a great balance between ambient noise and a good directional quality, which allows you to aim at the sound source accurately. Thanks to the internal roll-off for the low frequencies (80 Hz) there's a lot of air in the signal, when sub-lows are undesired. Furthermore, the switchable -10 dB pad is handy for the attenuation of high sound levels.
