This 18-inch thin crash from Masterwork is suitable for the more subtle styles. Especially in acoustic settings and with smaller jazz combos, this crash will do excellent justice. The cymbal is relatively thin; this allows more room at low volumes to produce a nice mix of overtones. Stick definition is excellent and response is also fine. Sustain is average, neither too short nor excessively long. Thanks to the use of the special B25 alloy, this crash also has a nice 'wash'.
