For years now, Meinl has been able to surprise the drumming world time and again with their unusual cymbals. The Generation X series is their playground, and home to their most extreme models. This particular cymbal is a great example. It's the GX-17CHC-B 17-inch China Crash - a cymbal that is made of B12 bronze with a brilliant finish, and features a flattened outer rim and a wavy edge.
Meinl Generation X GX-17CHC-B
This China Crash is sure to impress. Partly thanks to its large round cut-outs, it offers a trashy sound and plenty of bite, allowing you to create aggressive accents. Furthermore, it has plenty of body and sustain to be useful in louder settings as well, while its overall character is a bit less trashy than that of a regular china cymbal. The GX-17CHC-B has a sound all its own, and it's a great addition to virtually any drum kit.
