Zildjian
Product no: 9000-0004-6550
The world-famous Zildjian Company has been using secret alloys for their cymbals since way back in 1623, and has passed on that well-kept secret from generation to generation. The A Custom series gets its name from the founder of this family business who got the Zildjian name from the sultan in Constantinople, Avedis I. Furthermore, it has been designed in collaboration with renowned drummer Vinnie Colaiuta.
This 16-inch crash from the A Custom series is everything you could want from an A Custom cymbal. It's got a beautiful bright sound with warm undertones and has a nice and shimmering wash, while its light weight ensures it has quite a fast decay, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. A bright finish slightly accentuates the high frequencies, and gives the cymbal a striking, elegant look.
In short, the 16-inch Zildjian A Custom crash is a cymbal that speaks quickly and is suited for virtually any musical style.
