Paiste Color Sound 900 17-inch Purple Medium Crash

Paiste offers the best of both worlds in their Color Sound 900 series by providing their standard 900 series cymbals with a durable coloured coating. This 17-inch medium crash is made of B8-bronze alloy and has been hammered by hand and given a bright purple coating. The result is an all-round cymbal with a clear sound and warm undertones that makes a great addition to any kit!

Color Sound 900

Paiste has had coloured cymbals in their assortment since 1984, but they've only recently breathed new life into them with their Color Sound 900 series. The range is based on Paiste's 900 series but each cymbal has a different-coloured coating on top. This coating is very thin but durable and scratch-proof. Besides the visual aspect, the coating gives these cymbals a drier sound with a shorter sustain and bigger attack.
