We have seen many cymbals with odd shapes, but this 18-inch Sabian AAX Rocktagon more or less takes the crown. This octagonal, unique cymbal was initially a Sabian exclusive 'vault drop', however, it proved so popular that this crash is now available in the regular range! Made from a high-quality B20 bronze alloy, the 18-inch crash has a surprisingly warm, rich sound with nicely controlled overtones, short sustain and a rough calyx. So this musical stop sign isn't so crazy after all! Perfectly all-round usable and especially suitable for short, fast accents.
