Wrote the following about DW Drums 6700 Boom Cymbal Stand
Vanwege het gewicht van mijn oude trouwe Pearl 1000 serie stands ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een lichter alternatief, wat eenvoudig mee te nemen is, maar toçh z'n mannetjes staat. De stand besteld, uiteraard de volgende dag in huis!
Toen ik de stand uitpakte was ik verbaasd over het gewicht, zalig licht! Maar ook direct huiverig: het voelde niet per sé super stevig aan...
Eenmaal opgesteld, 22" ride erop en eens stevig crashen.. de stand presteert boven verwachting! Ik heb inmiddels meer stands bijgekocht en ben helemaal om! Oké, ik heb geen mega hoge setup, ben geen vreselijke hardhitter, maar zeker tijdens de eerste test heb ik meerdere grote bekkens vanuit verschillende hoeken flink op hun lazer gegeven: voor mij zijn deze stands het perfecte compromis tussen gewicht en stabiliteit! Denk dus niet dat je hier een flinke china mee hoog boven je set hangt, maar zeker zonder de arm helemaal uit te steken kun je hier echt goed mee uit de voeten!
Dus: Makkelijk verstelbaar, vederlicht, tóch stevig (genoeg) en zien er sjiek uit! Top DW!
