General
The Yamaha CH8S is a compact cymbal arm with a short boom, specially designed for drummers who want to keep their kit tidy and don’t have much space. Thanks to its short design, this holder is easier to position than the standard CH8, making it ideal for both smaller stages and studios. The infinitely adjustable tilt mechanism ensures you can position the cymbal exactly at the desired angle, whilst the quick-release mechanism allows you to change cymbals in a flash. Yamaha’s Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer contributes to a natural sound with good resonance and sustain. The boom arm can be fully retracted into the upper section of the tube, allowing you to use the CH8S as a straight cymbal holder in an instant.
