Flexibility of the Yamaha CS-665A cymbal stand
The cymbal stand is equipped with two telescopic mechanisms that allow you to adjust the height from 76 to 162 cm. The boom arm can be extended and tilted in a step-free way by means of a simple clamping mechanism with two wings bolts. Due to the hide-away concept, the boom arm can be fitted into the main tube of the stand, which saves room during transport. It also enables you to use the CS665A as a straight stand. The offset tilter at the end of the boom arm can almost be folded back entirely, saving room and preventing damage during transport.

Ultra-rugged construction
The CS-665A is fitted with three rugged double-braced legs with large rubber feet that prevent the stand from moving. The nylon bushings, that were especially designed by Yamaha, keep the tubes securely in place, even when the wing bolts are lightly tightened. As the wing bolts are tightened through a steel nut, the durability of the bolt is increased. The tilter sleeve is just the right size for secure cymbal mounting, without affecting the sound of the cymbal.
