General

Steve's Donut is a handy accessory for any drummer who wants a simple and quick way to completely change the sound of his or her snare drum. Does your snare sound high and shrill? Rock hard. But sometimes a song just calls for a low, dull and dry thump. If you don't have a second, deep snare drum, tuning your snare down for one song and adding all kinds of damping is not an option. Putting Steve's Donut on your snare lowers the pitch and makes the sound drier. Give your modern snare that recognisable 70s dry vintage sound with Steve's Donut from Big Fat Snare Drum. This Donut has a diameter of 13 inches.

Big Fat Snare Drum Steve's Donut 13-inch

Dit is mijn favoriet van de Big Fat series. Minder boventonen dankzij zijn dunne overlay, maar nog wel dezelfde attack en rebound door het gat in het midden.
