General
If you want to (temporarily) alter the sound of your 14 inch snare drum, there are all kinds of creative ways to do so involving gaffer tape, towels, and moon gel, for instance. But, if you want to lower your snare's pitch quickly and easily, The Original is the way to go. Simply lay this rubber ring ontop of your snare drum skin and turn the mid-to-high pitched sound into a sloppy, low snare sound straight from the seventies. This ring has a smooth surface, making it unsuitable for use with brushes.

Deze dunne overlay maakt het geluid inderdaad vet. Denk jaren 70 disco. Niet subtiel, veel van je boventonen zijn ineens weg. Voor mij bleek de donut versie (gat in het midden) de perfecte te zijn, daar bleef namelijk iets meer van de normale attack uit de snare over.
