This set consists of 4 small, clear gel SlapKlatz damper pads that are about the size of a one-pound coin and a two-pence coin. They dampen your drums and cymbals with the greatest of ease, the level of attenuation depending on whether you place them in the middle or more towards the edge. Despite being very sticky, these little gel discs are easily removed to be use again, contrary to other dampening alternatives like tape.

SlapKlatz (clear): protection and ease

SlapKlatz pads don't only dampen, they can protect your drums as well. If you place one on your drum shell where it could come in contact with hardware, for example, you've effectively created a sort of bumper that prevents damage and protects your lacquer at the same time. Another handy advantage is that the SlapKlatz pads stick to any surface, top or bottom, and can essentially defy gravity! If necessary, you can clean them with hand soap in lukewarm water.
