If you're a producer, you've got plenty of choice when it comes to 'in-the-box' DAW packages. Cubase can be considered the grandfather of DAWs, considering it has been around since the eighties. Now, this world-known software has reached its tenth edition, Steinberg Cubase Pro 10. Generally speaking, Cubase is one of the most popular DAWs that helps you create a great-sounding music production from start to finish. Best of all, you don't have to be a seasoned expert to take advantage of everything Cubase has to offer.
What 's new in Cubase Pro 10?
Those already familiar with the interface will see right away that it's been given a good clean, so to speak. The audio engine has also been improved. VariAudio3 is Cubase's pitch master for adding small fluctuations in the audio pitch, sliding formants, or correcting vocals. With Audio Alignment, you can easily add up the tracks you want to double. You can even make snapshots of your console if you want to make alternative mixes but want a visual reminder of your original configuration. Cubase even features Virtual Reality tools for binaural panning, for example. The revamped channel strip has even more functionality and the Groove Agent SE 5 enables you to build up awesome rhythmic tracks. As well as 5 GB of loops and samples, Cubase also supports polyphonic expression possibilities such as with the Roli Seaboard.

- Please note: since version 9.5, this software is longer available as a physical medium (such as a DVD). You can download this product using a download code. A connection to the Internet is therefore required (and extra download space on your hard drive) in order to install this product.
- 32-bit plugins are not supported.
