General

Strymon is known for its extensive high-end effect pedals for guitarists. hiZ signals so, and if you want to connect that signal to a mixing console, you need a DI Box to turn it into a line signal. By the way, a bit of audio interface has that possibility built in, but the more traditional mixing consoles do not. In that case, we can highly recommend the Strymon PCH-1 as an active DI box. You get a stereo input (left and right), which means you can also include, for example, all your (stereo) reverb pedals in your chain. There is a thru, which allows you to send the signal (in stereo or mono) to your own guitar amp/speaker (e.g. the 'stack' of that very famous brand). There are headphones for your own listening, with volume control. For guitarists who regularly recognise themselves in the situation outlined: a particularly high-quality DI!
