General

This diatonic harmonica in A is a wonderful example of why Hohner has become so great. Besides a brilliant sound, this harmonica features a very innovative design, optimising the sound produced. After over 150 years of experience, you might expect that from such a brand, but Hohner keeps improving. However, the concept of the Blues Harp is simple: to bring out the real blues sound. This Hohner has succeeded very well, because when you play this Blues Harp MS you can't help but get carried away with blues.

The Hohner MS series

MS in this series stands for Modular System, which basically means that all parts of these harmonicas are replaceable. This way, you can very easily create your own sound, without letting the blues go to waste. By the way, this series also stands its ground on stage with ease, especially the Blues Harps, which can easily keep up with the rest of the band with their powerful and characteristic tones.

Blues Harp MS A

As you have already read, this harmonica has pitch A. This pitch is usually used for playing along with music in pitch E. The dark and wonderfully raw tones of the Blues Harp will then really come into their own. To be able to produce these full tones, Hohner has chosen to make the comb of this harmonica out of wood. The mouthpiece is neatly lacquered, so that the Blues Harp is still comfortable to play. In addition, the harmonica has stainless steel covers and brass tuning slides with brass reeds.
