Hohner Marine Band - Crossover, F harmonica

General

The classic version of the Marine Band has been around since 1896 and has proved a great success. Widely used in classical blues and much loved for its rich sound. After more than 100 years, Hohner has created a new variant of this "all time favourite": the Crossover. The pearwood comb of the original Marine Band has been replaced by a bamboo comb. This ensures that the rich sound of the Marine Band now has a very bright colour. Airtightness is the result of the compact design and in its place again ensures a quick response. This one is tuned in F-major, making it suitable for playing in C-major.

Durable design

Many features of the Crossover are similar to those of the Marine Band Classic, so switching between these instruments is quite easy. The reeds are 0.9 mm thick and are made of brass. All materials are carefully chosen and checked for quality to give them maximum durability. Parts are easy to take apart, allowing you to do almost all maintenance yourself. You get a pouch included to protect the Crossover.
