This harmonica features a plastic comb, which has the advantage that it will not swell over time, unlike wooden combs. The mouthpiece is also made of plastic, so the harmonica glides easily and smoothly through your lips. The cover plates of the Pro Harp MS are lacquered black. Finally, the reeds and tongue plate are made of copper. This combination of materials creates a raw, consistent and beautifully warm sound. The Pro Harp MS comes from Hohner's MS series. MS stands for Modular System, which means that all parts of the harmonicas in this series are compatible with each other and can be purchased separately. This version of the Pro Harp MS is tuned in E, a key often used to play along with music in B.
