General
When you think of harmonicas, you may not immediately think of Japan, yet this is where the Tombo brand comes from. This brand has been making various harmonicas since 1917. The Tombo Ultimo Bb diatonic harmonica is a model praised for its mild and mellow tone. This makes it suitable for jazz and fusion, as well as for use with microphone and effect pedal. The tuning plate is 1.1 mm thick, making bending and overblowing tones accessible. The cover plates are made of brass and have a protective coating. On the inside, a plastic comb protects the instrument from moisture. To store the whole harmonica safely, it comes with a compact storage box.
