The DJ Control Air S is a compact DJ controller that has everything you need. It features an integrated sound card, two decks, and a two-channel mixer, allowing you to create the most spectacular mixes. The controller is compatible with all DJ software with MIDI learn functionality, and comes with DJUCED software. This way, you can mix, record and manage your music in the way you want. The DJ Control Air S is the perfect beginner model but also suited for more advanced DJs.
Hercules DJ Control Air S: an overview
Although the Control Air S has a small footprint, it does feature a large number of functions that bigger controllers have as well. Each deck has four velocity-sensitive sample pads that let you start samples, trigger effects and set cues. You can also find a touch-sensitive jog wheel on the decks. With these 10cm large platters you can scratch, look for the right cue in your music and make smooth transitions to the next track. Of course, you also have a pitch fader at your disposal for matching your tracks.
Contactless Air control
One unique feature of the DJ controller is the contactless Air control - 'Air' stands for Adjustment by InfraRed. This lets you create the most spectacular effects, simply by moving your hand above the infrared sensor. The Air function can be freely assigned to a number of effects or the pitch bend, and allows you to influence the effects naturally. Because the controller features an on-board sound card, you'll only need a computer for delivering the performance of your lifetime.
