General
The Korg G1 air has captured the sounds of not one, not two, but three grand pianos. It has the world-famous sound of a German model, the classic sound of an Austrian model, and the modern dynamics of a Japanese grand on board. The sounds can be changed according to your preferences, the tuning and the song you're playing. The RH-3 keyboard has 88 hammer-action keys that can be set to one of five different sensitivities. The G1 Air has a modern design and comes with a stylish stand that includes three pedals with half-pedal functionality. Its modest depth of just 29 cm makes it easy to find a place to put this piano. The G1 Air BK has a beautiful black finish.
Realistic sounds
To accurately recreate the sound of an actual acoustic piano, the G1 Air reacts extremely quickly to the dynamics in your playing. It adjusts the sound accordingly and gives you things you'd expect to get from a real piano like dampening, string resonance and Key Off simulation. The technology used on the 4-way sound system is new and thanks to good frequency distribution, the sound is exactly the same as you'd get from an acoustic piano. In addition to the grand pianos, there are 32 other sounds on board including electric pianos, organs, strings and even an acoustic guitar!
Bluetooth
The G1 even has Bluetooth on board so that you can easily play along with your favourite music. Thanks to its excellent sound quality, you can use the piano as a wireless sound system too! Physical connectors included a line output, MIDI IN/OUT and two headphone sockets. Other functions include a Partner mode that allows two people to play together in the same register, Layer mode that lets you play two sounds at the time and Split mode that lets you play a different sound with each hand.
