This Yamaha CLP-525PE digital features the popular Polished Ebony finish for a distinguished look that will match any interior. The supports under either side of this piano not only imitate an upright acoustic piano, but they offer extra stability as well. Not to mention, you also profit from its light weight of only 45 kg, so you can easily move and transport this instrument. If you've been looking for a digital piano for a while but don't what to empty your pockets for it, then the CLP-525 is a great choice. While it is the entry-level model from the CLP series, you can count on excellent playing comfort and sound.
Yamaha Clavinova CLP-525PE
The piano sound featured on this digital piano was recorded from the Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand piano. With years of experience under their belts, Yamaha successfully took up the task of developing a digital instrument that feels and sounds like a real grand piano, and this is the fruit of their labor. For added realism, you can enjoy the smooth release and damper resonance features. Thanks to the expansive 256-voice polyphony, you'll never have to worry about losing a note, like you might with less-powerful instruments. No matter how stormy and wild the musical passage is, each and every note will shine through. Of course, the 2x 20 watt stereo speaker system plays a key role in that as well.
Keyboard and functions
The CLP-525PE is equipped with a Graded Hammer 3 keyboard with 88 weighted keys. Along with that, there is a difference in key sensitivity between the lower and higher notes, just like with a grand piano. In combination with three pedals, you get a pure piano experience. Yamaha calls it Real Grand Expression. We call it Piano Bliss. Extra functions include a metronome, layer, transpose and tuning. You can also easily record your sessions with memory for two tracks built in, and there are also 50 piano songs built in for inspiration. If you choose, you can make use of the included song book to play along!

C'est le 2e piano Yamaha laqué noir dans la famille, le laqué nécessite le passage au chiffon doux (dédié!) régulier mais ne subit aucune rayure et se tient très bien dans le temps si bien sûr on est un peu soigneux. Les vendeurs qui mettent en garde sur ce point comme critère pour dissuader les gens de l'acheter ont tort car un piano dans une maison est aussi un objet magnifique!
Aucune autre marque ne propose cette qualité et cette finition.
J'apprécie le toucher lourd, le son excellent, la simplicité et la discrétion des boutons numériques.
Et bravo à la qualité d'emballage de Yamaha, un soin irréprochable est apporté à leurs produits, le montage est inscrit sur le dessus du carton, c'est simplissime (il vaut mieux être 2 pour manipuler le clavier).
A noter : l'arrêt automatique après 30 min de non utilisation, plus besoin de vérifier si les enfants l'ont éteint.

Yamaha Extends Temporary 5-Year Guarantee on Clavinova and Modus
Monday 4 April 2016 By LizanneMore than a year ago, Yamaha announced they would temporarily be extending the guarantee period of the Clavinova and the Modus models from three to five years. This offer was intended to end on March 31st of 2016, but Yamaha made it known today that they will be extending that offer for another two years. That means you have until march 31st, 2018 to take advantage of a whopping five-year guarantee when you purchase a digital piano from the Yamaha CLP or CVP series, or a Modus F02.
