The Clavinova CLP series consists of digital pianos that offer any pianist that pure piano experience. No keyboard features or other unnecessary frills, just high-quality piano character. This Yamaha CLP is the lively entry-level model from the CLP series, but don't let that fool you, because the piano sound was sampled from a Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand. With Yamaha's expertise in acoustic and digital pianos, you can be sure of an incredibly authentic reproduction of the grand piano's sound. The exterior of the piano is timeless and stylish with a Dark Rosewood finish that will add class to any room.
Clavinova CLP-525R: Real Grand Expression
There are many different factors that can make or break a digital piano as a substitute for an acoustic instrument. That's where Yamaha's Real Grand Expression comes in - technology that offers true grand piano character in the sound, pedals, and playing feel of this Clavinova. The 88-key Graded Hammer 3 keyboard is nicely weighted, whereby the lower keys are heavier than the higher ones, just like you experience with an acoustic piano. Additionally, the CLP525 has an adequate set of speakers that offer two times 20 watts of good amplification. In this way, your piano playing will really come to life. Or if you want to practise in private, you can make use of one or both of the headphone connections.
Technological characteristics
The CLP-525R has an enormous polyphony of 256 voices. This means that you could play with four hands - and we're not talking Chopsticks here, but true virtuoso passages - without any notes falling away. The problem of note stealing still occurs with instruments with limited polyphony, but certainly not with the CLP-525R! Furthermore, this piano offers 10 sounds, recording capability, and has 50 piano songs built in. Moreover, you can use the included song book to play along with the built-in songs for practice. Yamaha Extends Temporary 5-Year Guarantee on Clavinova and Modus
Monday 4 April 2016 By LizanneMore than a year ago, Yamaha announced they would temporarily be extending the guarantee period of the Clavinova and the Modus models from three to five years. This offer was intended to end on March 31st of 2016, but Yamaha made it known today that they will be extending that offer for another two years. That means you have until march 31st, 2018 to take advantage of a whopping five-year guarantee when you purchase a digital piano from the Yamaha CLP or CVP series, or a Modus F02.
