General
The Casio Celviano AP-300 digital piano is very similar to the AP-S200, but is a bit larger. Not very much bigger, it's still a slim piano like the S200 is. But to mention something: with the AP-300, you can open the hood (the top) for more sound projction. At least in terms of size, it fits the somewhat smaller living rooms and bedrooms. Under the hood, however, it is spacious, and then we're talking about what's inside the chips. High-level sounds, and capabilities you can only be very happy with. But for most buyers, how it all works with those chips will probably be of little interest. Does it sound good? That's the question, and the answer is briefly 'yes'.
Possibilities for piano lessons, for instance
For many, piano lessons are the first real introduction to the piano. While this used to be done with a real piano, the digital piano is gaining ground. Just think of all the advantages; headphones (so you don't bother anyone), adjustable volume, and never having to tune again. And another advantage: a normal upright piano sounds like an upright piano. A digital piano sounds like an expensive concert grand piano. Another advantage? With more and more digital pianos, including this AP-300, you can use apps, which of course fits in perfectly with the new young generation. So extra functions, which immediately makes it clear why Casio doesn't put such a large and expensive screen in the piano itself - just about everyone already has such a screen in their pocket. Nice piano for the home, thus!
