General

Yamaha unveil a new range of Arius digital pianos: the YDP-165, YDP-145, YDP-S35 and the YDP-S55. Essentially featuring the same range of options and the same enhanced note-off velocity, the difference between these models lies in the size of the housing. In the Yamaha Arius YDP-165 piano, you're looking at the largest and heaviest of the new additions. Both the YDP-165 and YDP-S55 also boast the most extensive sound system of the four models, and come furnished with a pull-out piano lid. Further from that, this Yamaha-designed digital instrument offers the rich and sublime sound of the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano as well as ten extra sounds, and the eased operation of a set of accessible controls, making this a perfect intermediate or student level piano. Two headphone outputs have also been fitted so that student and teacher are able to rehearse without bothering the neighbours, and using a smartphone or tablet, the free Smart Pianist app can be downloaded and coupled to the piano to gain access to an expanded range of options and study aids.

De beste instap piano, wat het meest op een echte piano lijkt. Het volle geluid klinkt er mooi. Wat mij nog het meeste aanspreekt zijn de toetsen, die het slaan van een hamertje nabootsen (dit zit niet op de goedkopere modellen). Dit geeft een heel fijn en realistisch gevoel tijdens het spelen, wat voor mij als beginner van grote waarde is. Ik ben super tevreden over de piano.

De levering van Bax was in de avond besteld, de volgende middag bezorgd. Een vriendelijke sterke vent die samen met mij de piano naar boven heeft getild. De installatie was erg makkelijk, en heb ik in mijn eentje kunnen doen. Zeer positief over de levering.

Voor mij geen weg meer terug om mijn bucket-list item piano kunnen spelen nu niet af te kunnen gaan strepen, maar heb nog veel te leren.

Le clavier est très agréable et le son piano est vraiment réaliste. Seul bémol, il n'a pas le bluetooth. Mais sa qualité globale fait vite oublier ce point.
