General

More than 30 years ago, Roland changed the face of dance music forever with the introduction of the legendary TR-909 drum machine. Today, they pay homage to the TR-909 with a strictly limited TT-99 direct drive turntable that comes in the same colours as the drum machine, complete with a striking tone arm and pitch fader in orange. It's not only this turntable's appearance that's striking though. The direct drive system starts and stops in under a second, the turntable runs at 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm, and there's a built-in phono preamplifier on board.

Plug and play

The TT-99 comes with everything you need to start using it right away. Simply connect it up to your speakers or mixer using the included RCA cable, place a record on the custom slipmat that sits on the moulded aluminium platter and you're good to go. The on/off knob doubles as the volume control. With the pitch fader you can alter the speed by up to 10% so that you can match the sound to another track you're playing on a separate deck. Needless to say, Roland's robust construction makes this turntable ideal for DJing.

Roland TT-99 direct-drive turntable

Wrote the following about Roland TT-99 direct-drive turntable

Netjes afgewerkt met stofkap in the box. Kortom, value for money.
