Wessex overdrive pedal

The Wessex is part of a series of Bogner pedals whose names are inspired by British mixing consoles from the sixties. The sounds of these consoles made their claim to fame in studios the likes of the Abbey Road Studios. The warm, harmonically rich sound that ensures a three-dimensional tonal experience was captured in the effect pedals of this series by applying a transformer at the heart of the electronic circuit. It is the same sound you may know from Bogner's tube amplifiers. The Wessex is an overdrive pedal with gain, volume, treble and bass controls. It allows you to create an array of overdrive sounds that range from a mild edge to heavily distorted lead sounds with plenty of gain and headroom.
