General

Distortion comes in all shapes and sizes, but there is none more legendary than the BOSS DS-1 Distortion. This living legend has been in production since 1978 and can be heard on numerous iconic songs. It's not for nothing that this pedal has been around for decades. With the relatively simple controls, you can easily set up a distortion sound to your taste and then rock out undisturbed. In addition to this distortion stompbox, this set includes 2 pieces of handy instrument cables.

DS-1 Distortion: surprisingly versatile

OK, if you really go for a very subtle edge, the DS-1 is not your thing, but for almost every other application, the DS-1 is more than usable. On a low gain setting, you can play classic rock with it effortlessly, with the gain at full, you enter metal territory. The DS-1 is also nice as a clean boost on an already overdriven amp. Besides, a DS-1 is almost impossible to break, so for a relatively friendly price, the BOSS DS-1 Distortion is an effect pedal for life!

De bescherming/uiteinde van de Jack is naar flauw, van plastiek.

pedal klinkt mooi, goede sterke distortion met karakter. makkelijk aan te sluiten, als de daisy cord loskomt doet hij het nogsteeds door de geheugenbatterij. ook super handig als je alleen de pedal bij je hebt en niet de kabel voor de voeding.

Heel eerlijk gezegd is er geen betere distortion.
Dit is echt de OG en werd gebruikt door legendes als Kurt Cobain enzoverder enzovoort.
