General

Distortion comes in all shapes and sizes, but there is none more legendary than the BOSS DS-1 Distortion. This living legend has been in production since 1978 and can be heard on numerous iconic songs. It's not for nothing that this pedal has been around for decades. With the relatively simple controls, you can easily set a distortion sound to your taste and then rock out uninterrupted. Besides this distortion stompbox, this set includes 2 patch cables to place it in a chain between 2 other effects pedals.

DS-1 Distortion: surprisingly versatile

Okay, if you really go for a very subtle edge, the DS-1 is not your thing, but for almost every other application, the DS-1 is more than usable. On a low gain setting, you can play classic rock with it effortlessly, with the gain at full, you enter metal territory. The DS-1 is also nice as a clean boost on an already overdriven amp. Besides, a DS-1 is almost impossible to break, so for a relatively friendly price, the BOSS DS-1 Distortion is an effect pedal for life!

Prima kabeltjes. Ze zijn wat stug qua buigen, dus als je veel pedalen hebt, is het handig ze niet strak tegen elkaar aan te zetten, maar ze bijvoorbeeld een stukje beneden of boven elkaar te plaatsen. Kwestie van even puzzelen hoe je je pedalboard het beste kunt inrichten. Op de kwaliteit is verder niks af te dingen...degelijke, stevige kabels.
